You’ve set up your brick-and-mortar store or even an online website to really start selling. Selling is another aspect in business, where you would need to sell to make money. In order for you to sell, people would need to know more about your business. Hence, comes marketing.

Marketing is necessary to really push your brand or products to your target clients and potential leads. By now, you should already identify your niche that you’re in and your target customers. Then, what you would want to do is exert full power to really promote and market your business to your target audience and begin to profit.

There are a few marketing tactics that one could hop on, with that being the following.

Email Marketing

If you are running an online store or have a website for your business, one way that you can do to capture your clients for more sales is through email marketing. Email marketing is sending emails about what you can offer to your potential leads. Usually, these people would subscribe to you to know more about your business. Hence, the more subscribers you have, the more leads you have. With an extra push, you should be able to convert those leads into sales.

To do this, you would need to have an email list first. But how do you get them?

Most common way is where you lure or entice them with something that they could not refuse. For example, ask for their emails in exchange of giving them free ebooks or access to your community. Or even to get discounts and rebates when they purchase your products. The price they would only need to pay is giving their emails to you. Once you’ve got the email addresses, blast them an email once a week or once every two weeks depending what suits you and your target clients (you don’t want to be spammy though)

Often times, people would use tools that are available on the web to help them with this. The two tools that you can use are:

  • Landing Page Tools: To get email addresses from your website visitors
